Library - Let's Have a Library Record! (Monday; 12/1)

K: Know how to keep track of the books we read. U: Understand how long it takes for us to finish a book. D: Record the books we read.   Words of the Day 1. Record 2. Comment     Let 's Begin! Great news, kids! You can now borrow books from the library! Task 1 Starting today, you need to borrow a book from the library and record down the book's information.   Write your name at the top of the Library Record. Use that sheet to record the books you have borrowed from the library. For the 'comment' section, you can write a short opinion about the book such as 'It's a funny book!' or 'Wish the author didn't kill the villain.' Usually, the timeline for a borrowed book is 1 week . If you finish it earlier, you can return the book to Mr Emmanuel and borrow a new one! 

Grammar - Coordinating Conjunctions (Thursday; 8/1)

Take your English notebook and write the day and date, as well as the words of the day.  Remember what a conjunctions are? A linguistic form that connects words or word groups . Do you remember what FANBOYS are? It has a formal term! It's called... . . . Task 1 1. Find conjunctions that are spread in the class. 2. Once found, make a sentence using the conjunction. It has to be at least 5 words long. 3. Once found and written, put the conjunction back to where you found it. 4. No waiting if a conjunction was found by someone else. 5. Once you found 10 conjunctions and wrote 10 sentences, give your work to Ms Farah, Ms Mirva, or Mr Miqdad. You have 20 minutes for this task.  Make sure your writing is neat, tidy, and legible.
