Welcome back, 5 Solis! Today, we' re going to remember the main word classes.   Now, do you remember what a subject-verb-object is? Task 1 Take out your English notebook. Write the day and date in your notebook. Individually, you need to find 3 different word classes and form a sentence with it. Write down your sentence in your English book. Remember to: - label the word classes prettily - label the subject-verb-object   Task 2 Each person must create 3 sentences each. The group who manages to complete 3 different sentences each wins the game.   An example can be seen as below: My new cat sleeps next to me .  Subject - Cat Verb - Sleeps Object  - Me    You have 20 for these tasks. Do you remember what a simple sentence is? What about a compound sentence? Today, we are learning the last sentence BUT BEFORE THAT let's watch this. Main clause - A complete sentence/A simple sentence. Dependent clause - An incomplete sentence and will have a subordinating conjunction. What happens when we combined a main clause and dependent clause together? Complex Sentence - A combination of main clause and dependent clause. Example: 1. Composition - Writing Proper Topic Sentences (Thursday; 12/2)

Take out your 'Should There Be Homework?' essay. By now, you only have at least your introduction written and marked. Now, let's watch the last video. Before we write, do you remember what conjunctions are?   Task 1 With your recent essay, continue writing it by adding at least 2 topic sentences and end it with a conclusion. For those disagreeing that there should be homework:   For those agreeing that there should be homework: For the conclusion, the tips are: 1. Start the paragraph with 'In conclusion...' and then continue by agreeing or disagreeing with the main topic. 2. Add another fact about your topic to end your essay. 3. Don't forget to write the word count at the bottom right of your essay.
