Let's Begin!

Do you know what a play script is?

A written version of a play or other dramatic composition.

In lieu of Valentines Day, we are doing to read a play script about Pyramus and Thisbe from A Midsummer Night's Dream.

 

Little details about this play:

1. Pyramus and Thisbe were childhood friends but enemy families.

2. As adults, they love each other but cannot be together.

3. They talked to each other through a cracked wall in their houses.

4. They plan to meet under the mulberry tree.

5. Thisbe fled from a lioness, leaving her cloak.

6. Pyramus saw the cloak and thought Thisbe died.

7. Pyramus committed suicide out of heartbreak.

8. Thisbe found his corpse and got sad.

9. She killed herself out of heartbreak.

10. The mulberry is now red because of their blood.
