Homework

Here is a short passage of a narrative story. Your task is to continue where it left off.

Hilda's New Pet

Today was the happiest day of Hilda's life. During breakfast, her parents told her that she would be getting a pet of her own! Hilda had always wanted a pet. She proved how responsible she was by doing her chores and taking care of her school hamster last weekend. And now, thanks to her hard work, all would be rewarded.

The sound of the doorbell shook her away from her thoughts. "I'll get it!" she responded. Excited to see the type of animal she would take care of, Hilda ran towards the front door...

Now it's your turn to continue the story. Look at these questions when you're making your draft and story:

1. What kind of animal was it?

2. How did Hilda react when she saw it?

3. What was the problem that Hilda faced?

4. Was Hilda able to solve the problem?

5. How would you like to end this story?

Take note when you are doing your homework.

1. You should create a draft before your essay. The draft can be in a form of 5W1H.

2. Your draft and essay should be written in your Composition book.

3. Do not forget the day and date.

4. Write this in your Homework Journal - Hilda's New Pet Narrative Essay. Composition. Due: Monday (8/3)

5. Submit pictures of your work in Homeroom Course -> English folder -> Week 25-> Comprehension - Hilda's New Pet.
