Please refer to page 26 of your learner book. Prepare your Grammar book for today's lesson.
In your Grammar book, write down the 6 word classes along with its definition, 2 word examples, and 2 sentences that use the words. Example:
1. Adjective
A word naming an attribute of a noun.
Example: sweet and red
Sentences:
a) This candy is too sweet for me.
b) The big red car zoomed past me as I walked down the street.
Task Time 2
Please refer to page 27 of your learner book.
Write down the 4 sentences and your answers in your Grammar book and identify whether or not the sentence uses articles. Example:
1. The white bear ate a fish he had caught.
Indefinite article and it refers to a random fish.

Word Classes

2. Verb - A word used to describe an action.
3. Adjective - A word naming an attribute of a noun.
4. Pronoun - A word that refers either to the participants in the discourse (I, you) or to someone or something mentioned elsewhere in the discourse (she, it, this).
5. Preposition - A word expressing a relation to another word or element in the clause.
6. Conjunction - A word used to connect clauses or sentences or to coordinate words in the same clause.
