Examination: Term 1 English Paper 1 and Paper 2 (Wednesday; 24/11)

Let's begin!
Please take note of very important rules before and during you do your online exam:
1. For desktop and laptop users, you must have your camera switched on with your face shown.
2. For I-Pad or tab users, while doing the Schoology quiz, you can have your video switched off but you have to be unmuted with a quiet and peaceful surrounding. When you do your Section B which is composition, you must turn on your camera to have your face shown; only then you can be muted.
3. Have a bottled water near you so you do not need to go far to take it.
4. Section B (Composition) must be written in a testpad or long notebook.
5. HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY. Under absolutely no circumstances are you to get assistance or guidance from your parents, guardians, or friends. This is for your future. Be honest and responsible and it will get you far as you grow older.
If any of these rules are being broken, consequences will be taken.
How the online exam works
You can find the exam papers in your English course. It is in the Materials tab and inside the 'Term 1 Assessments and Examination' folder. Please click on your respective English course:
Please refer to the steps below:
Step 1: After going to your English course, click on the 'Term 1 Examinations' folder.
Step 2: Click on the the respective Paper 1 or Paper 2 folder depending on the time started.
Step 3: After clicking the respective folder, you will see 3 things:
The first one is the passage for the Section A questions. You are to choose whether or not you want to print out the PDF file. But please download and have it opened when you do the Schoology quiz.
Second one is the Schoology quiz. It has both Section A (Comprehension and Grammar) and Section B (Composition). Section A is answered digitally. THE QUIZ CAN ONLY BE SUBMITTED ONCE AND IT HAS A 60 MINUTE TIME LIMIT.
Third is where you submit your Section B essay. Although the Section B questions can be seen in the Schoology quiz, you can still see it in the assignment section. There's even a PDF attached to it for your convenience.
Please submit your essay work in the assignment section and ensure that the scanned/pictured essays are clear for Ms Farah to read and grade as shown below:
Once done, inform the invigilator so that they can check with Ms Farah. Once it has been confirmed by Ms Farah, you may dismiss.
Since Zoom has 40-minute time limit, the invigilator will inform that the Zoom meeting will disconnect and you are to join back in 5 seconds to the same Zoom link. The link can be found in the events tab.
