Please prepare your workbook by opening to page 65. You can draft out your poem with a pencil but please write your finalized version with a pen.

Task 1

Please refer to page 65 in your workbook.

Write a poem about a windy night. Pick a stanza of your choice. Ensure you have at least 3 types of figurative languages and 1 rhyme.

You can write your poetic draft with a pencil for this task. You have 30 minutes for this task.



Task 2

Refer to pages 66 and 67 in your workbook. Read the instructions carefully. Once you are happy with your poem and Ms Farah has marked the draft, rewrite the final poem with a pen.

You have 20 minutes for this task.




Homework

Do units 3.4 and 35 of your workbook. You can refer to the sample answers in the comments section only after you've written your answers. Please write down the notes below in your HW journal:
