Read the poem 'The River' and try to understand the meaning of poem. You have 5 minutes to read and interpret the poem.
Stanza - A poem divided by certain amount of lines.
There are many different types of stanzas in poetry:
1. Couplet is a stanza with 2 lines that rhyme.
2. Tercet is a stanza with 3 lines that may or may not rhyme.
3. Quatrain is a stanza with 4 lines that may or may not rhyme.
4. Quintain is a stanza with 5 lines that may or may not rhyme.
5. Sestet is a stanza with 6 lines that may or may not rhyme.
