Please refer to page 19 in your learner's book. Write today's day and date in your Composition book.
In the storybook of your choice, ask yourself:
1. Who is the main character?
2. Where is the book set?
3. What is the main idea in the plot?
4. What issue must be resolved?
When you write a prologue, do you want to write a flashback or flash forward?
Flashback - What kind of events that could have happened that led to the main story?
Flash forward - What kind of hints or clues shows the progression or ending of the main story?
Point-of-view - Are you writing a first person point-of-view (I, we) that focuses on only one character's perspective, or third person point-of-view (He, she, they) that shows an omniscient perspective on all characters?
Task 1
Please refer to pages 19-20 in your learner's book. Answer Set 1 which consists of writing your own prologue of a book of your choice.
You are to write your essay by using either a black or blue pen.
Write as much as you can, preferably at least 100 words. The time limit is 30 minutes.
Task 2
Please refer to page 20 in your learner's book. Once your work has been written, take 10 minutes to read your partner's work and have your work be read by same partner.
