Adjective - a word describing nouns or a noun.

Verba word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence.

Adverba word that can modify or describe a verbadjective, another adverb.

Pronoun - a word replacing a noun such as a person's name.

Preposition - a word expressing a relation to another word or element in the clause.

Connectiveswords or phrases that link sentences (or clauses) together. Conjunction is one of the connective groups.

ConjunctionConjunctions are words that join clauses together.
