Refer to page 146 in your learner's book. Write today's day and date in your grammar book.
What are conditional verbs?
It is used to create conditional sentences, which express hypothetical or unlikely situations.
Usually starts with the word 'if'.
Accompanies by modal verbs such as 'can/could', 'will/would', 'may/might', 'may be' before a verb.
In order for it to be a conditional verb, it needs the combination of a modal verb + verb.
Example: can fly; may be needed; might go.
Task 1
Refer to page 147 in your learner's book. Answer all of Set 1 and write only your answers in your grammar book.
For 1a, use the balanced report from Unit 5.6 to find your answers. Write their purposes from the learner's book too before writing your answers.
For 1b, write the sentences along with your answer.
