Grammar - Time Travel with Verbs (Thursday; 12/9)

K: Know the past tense of verbs.

U: Understand the rules of the game.

D: Say the tenses of verbs.

Let's Begin!

In groups, let's play a time-traveling game!

Task 1

Each person will roll a dice. When it arrives on a verb (that's in present tense), you must say the verb in its past tense form.

If you get it right, wait on the spot until your next turn.

If you get it wrong, go back one space. 

 

Task 2

Once you finish the first round, replay the game but this time, with different rules: Once you arrive at a verb, you need to make a sentence out of it verbally.

If you can make a sentence in 10 seconds, wait on the spot until your next turn.

If you can't make a sentence in 10 seconds, go back one space.
