Do you remember your punctuation?

There are also a few:

Speech marks (Quotation marks) - signal the use of someone else's words

 

Example:

"I can't believe he's a ghost!" Ms Farah exclaimed.

"He is," responded Ms Kaisa.

 

Step on the speech mark placement:

Step 1 - Open speech marks

Step 2 - Dialogue

Step 3 - Punctuation 

Step 4 - Close speech marks


Task 1

In groups, rewrite the sentences to their correct capitalization and punctuation.

Each work sheet task 10 minutes.

Once done with 1 sheet, go to Ms Farah and take another.
