Prepare a test pad and write the day and date in the test pad. Don't forget to write the words of the day and your name!
Informational writing is a text to inform something.
Informational writing (or non-fiction writing) is separate into more detailed information:1. Introduction introduces the topic.
2. Fact is also known as topic sentence. A topic sentence is the main idea of a topic and is always the first sentence in a paragraph.
3. Conclusion is the ending of the essay. You can repeat the intro into the conclusion.
Please write down the structure (burger picture) in your test pad. You can write it as a simple list or in burger form.
You have 10 minutes to write these down.
Task 1
In a given template, write a simple informational essay about your favourite animal. Let's watch this video instruction!
Topic: My favourite animal is the cat.
Fact 1: Did you know that cats are very friendly animals?
Fact 2: The biggest cat in the world is the tiger.
Fact 3: Cat's scientific name is Felis catus.
Conclusion: In conclusion, cats are very friendly and cute.
You have 15 minutes for this task.
