In your test pad (given by your teachers), expand your draft into a proper essay! Remember these tips:
1. Always have 1 or 2-finger spacing before each paragraph.
2. Skip 1 line for each new paragraph.
The sentence from your draft can be the first sentence in the paragraph. For example:
Introduction
My favourite animal is the cat. (Starter) Some people love dogs and some love hamsters. (First elaboration) But for me, I love cats. (Second elaboration) There are many reasons why cats are my favourite animals. (Third elaboration)
Topic sentence 1
Did you know that cats are friendly? (Starter/Topic sentence) People often think cats are mean but that's not true! (First elaboration) They just show their love differently. (Second elaboration) For example, some cats will sleep next to their owner every night. (Third elaboration)
Conclusion
In conclusion, cats are very friendly and super cute. (Starter) They always make me happy. (First elaboration)
You have 20 minutes for this task.
