Grammar - 7.5 Work with Sentences (Tuesday; 29/4)

K: Remember the purposes of different connectives. U: Understand the structure of multi-clause sentence. D: Recreate sentences using correct connectives.   Words of the Day 1. Honourable 2. Fortune   Let's Begin! On page 196, write the day and date in your learner's book. What is a sentence?   What is a main clause? (Independent clause) A clause that can form a complete sentence when standing alone.   So, what's a subordinate clause? (Dependent clause)   Task 1 With your seating partner, do 1a and 1b. Write your answers in your learner's book. You  have 10 minutes for this task. Task 2 Now, take out your notebook and write the day and date. Do 2a, 2b, and 2c. You have 20 minutes for this task.
