Do you remember past and present tenses?

Now, what is a verb to be?

Write down the information above in your workbook.

You have 15 minutes for this.

In short, to be verbs like 'am, is, are' are used when using '-ing' verbs. For example:

I walk to the store. = I am walking to the store.

I walked to the store. = I was walking to the store.

What is the difference?

Answer: The to be verb need to change to its correct tense!

'am, is, are' are for present tense verbs.
