Go to page 188 in your learner's book. Write the day and date in your notebook.

 

Now, do you remember the plot mountain?


5-plot sequence has:

1. Introduction - Describes characters and settings. What do the characters look like? Why must the readers care?

 

2. Rising Action - Describe a conflict/problem. Character fights another character? Or character fights nature? Or character fights themself?

 

3. Climax - Has the biggest problem. Most intense part. Story might change depending on character's choice.

 

4. Falling Action - Has some action but worst is over. Are there still problems?

 

5. Resolution - Questions from readers may or may not be answered. Conflict may be gone.
