Do you remember the plot sequence?

 

Task 1

Let's read this lovely fable!


Underline/Highlight any interesting or hard words. 

Retelling a familiar story is fun! You don't have to think too hard about the plot because you already know it.

 

Task 2

Plan a retelling a The Cat & The Fox. Keep the features of a fable, but change something such as:

- choose different characters, names or setting;

- write a different ending;

- use the same characters but teach a different lesson. 

Write your notes on the worksheet Ms Farah has given you.

 

Task 3

Use a planning diagram to make notes:

Remember: Your notes should be short, simple, and straight-forward.

Once done, share your version of the fable with your assigned seating partner.
