What are the features of fable writing?



Task 1

Individually, you will be given a random animal and you have to write a short essay about the stereotypical traits that animal have and the actual facts of that animal.

You need to have both facts and opinions about the animal.

Your word count is at least 100 words and has at least 3 paragraphs. 

Don't forget to do finger spacing (indent) and skip a line for each paragraph.

Introduction - What is the chosen animal? How are these animals usually in fables?

Topic sentence 1 - How is this animal in fables? Give 1-2 examples of the animal in fable.

Topic sentence 2 - How is this animal in reality? Give 1 or 2 facts about this animal. 

For example:

    Cats are famous in most fable stories. The animal is usually cunning and mean in stories. There are many reasons why cats are depicted this way.

     In fables, cats are shown to be very smart and cunning. For example, in 'The Cat Returns', Baron Humbert is a character that is very smart and saves the heroine. In 'Puss in Boots', Puss is famous for tricking his enemies.

    Unlike fables, cats are nice animals. Cats are known to be meaner than dogs in most stories. However, cats are loving creatures. Did you know that cats love to gently headbutt the people they love? They even show their bellies if they trust you.
