Prepare your Oliver Twist book and English notebook. Write the day and date (along with the words of the day) in your notebook.

What do you understand in Chapter 2?

Task 1 

In the class, there are 25 definitions. Each definition defines the word in Chapter 2. 

Individually, find a definition. Once found, find the word from your Oliver Twist book; underline/highlight the word. Then, place the definition back to where you found it and continue to find another.

You have 30 minutes for this task. 

 

Task 2

Choose 5 words you find interesting or hard from Task 1 and write the meaning in your English notebook.

You have 15 minutes for this task.

They are normally  non -fiction texts which give information on a particular subject or event, without referring to the order in which things happen.
