Let's Begin!
Do you have a favourite book?
For this week, you're going to make a fun trailer about a book you and your partner have chosen!
Here are some trailers made by students like you:
Task 1
In pairs, discuss and choose your book to make a trailer about.
1. Open Google Classroom. Take turns to log in and click 'join' for the 5 Solis group.
2. Once done for Step 1, give a thumbs-up.
You are going to use Canva for your trailer.
1. Open and log in to your Canva using school email.
2. Then, make sure that you 'Share' your slide to your partner via school email.
3. Once done for Steps 3-4, give a thumbs-up.
Task 2
For today, you're going to choose the story that you wish to talk about.
1. Type and decorate the title of your chosen book.
2. Type the summary of your book.
3. Don't forget to save!
Task 1
For today, you need to plan and draft your trailer by using this checklist:
1. What type of trailer are we doing? Live-action? Animation?
2. Are we going to act? Are we going to narrate?
3. Are we showing our faces? Are we just letting our voices be heard?
4. Do we have the title and author of the book in our trailer?
5. Do we have the summary of the book in our trailer?
6. Is our trailer between 1:00 to 2:00 minutes?
Write your checklist in a test pad. Do not forget to write your names.
