D: Write a suspense story in 30 minutes.

Words of the Day

1. Suspense

2. Narrative story

Let's Begin!

Please prepare, and write the day and date in your Composition book.

Children, do you remember this topic that we learned in Year 5?

A suspense story is a story filled with suspense. The purpose is to make the readers feel nervous or excited to know more as they read the story.

The colourful boxes above are the features and techniques of writing a suspense story.

Task 1

In your Composition book, write a suspense story about two characters who are playing outside until sunset, only to stumble upon an abandoned building with no people around.

Remember to use the features and techniques to write your suspense story. Since the word limit will not be stated, remember to always write between 200-300 words.

A draft is highly recommended but do not take more than 5 minutes to do it.

You have 30 minutes sharp to do your suspense story. All the best!

For 6 Autumnus CH, submit your work here in the assignment section.
